Throughout the final term of 2023/24, 4th, 5th and 6th classes created poems inspired by the story of St Brigid, as part of our celebration of Brigid 1500. This project was facilitated by Ann Egan, supported by funding from Laois County Council Arts Office. On Wednesday, June 26th 2024, we showcased the books and art display produced as part of the project. We were delighted to welcome Ann back to the school, along with Muireann Ní Chonaill from Laois County Council Arts Office. 4th, 5th and 6th classes were very proud to show off the results of their work to parents and family members. 

On November 4th 2024, Senan, Liam, Cillian and Finn from 6th class, along with Brigid, represented the school at the opening evening of 'Finnscéil, The legend of St Brigid in words and images' at the Arthouse in Stradbally. We were delighted to see our work on display, and to have the opportunity to see and hear other compositions based around the life and stories of St Brigid.
