Welcome to our 4th class page! There are 16 pupils in our class and our teacher is Ms. Conroy. We have had a wonderful school year so far. Keep an eye on our page for a look at our fun activities. 

Art, Crafts and s.t.e.m 

We love art, crafts and experiments in our classroom. We are full of interesting ideas and love the design process. We designed and constructed some Halloween vehicles using recycled materials.

How to make a self-inflating balloon

During Science Week, we undertook the challenge to make a self- inflating balloon. We mixed vinegar and bicarbonate of soda in a bottle. The chemical reaction produced carbon dioxide and we watched in amazement as our balloons inflated. We had the opportunity to demonstrate our experiment to Senior Infants. They were very impressed with the results!

Robot building

During Science week, we learned how to make simple circuit to build a self colouring Robot. We had a lot of fun putting our Robots to work with Senior Infants.
