We thank the Parents’ Association for the work they have put in to sourcing the new school uniform during the 2024/25 school year.
All children are expected to wear either the new school uniform every-day, or a full version of the old uniform, except when specific permission is given otherwise.

The uniform is as follows:
- Ballyfin NS crested half-slip top
- Official Ballyfin NS trousers
- Plain navy or black runners/shoes
- Light blue t-shirt or shirt.
The old uniform:
- Navy Ballyfin NS crested fleece
- Plain navy trousers
- Light blue t-shirt or shirt
- Plain navy/black shoes
- As we go outside as much as possible, please make sure your child has a suitable rain-proof coat for cold/wet weather (hoodies, half-slips etc. are not sufficient as raingear).
- In very warm weather plain navy shorts of a suitable length may be worn.
- The Department of Education advises that suitable sun hats are worn outdoors during sunny weather.
- Please note that leggings and coloured runners/shoes are not part of the uniform.
- Please help your child to comply with the uniform policy. If there is a genuine reason why your child cannot wear the uniform (or part of it) on a given day, please supply a note confirming this.
