Second class learn at home
Week Starting- 30/3/20
Hello Boys and Girls.. I hope you are all keeping well. I know that you are enjoying the good weather and the time at home with your families. Please remember to stay at home, stay safe, keep washing your hands and cough or sneeze into your elbow.It is so important to keep a social distance if out for a walk within 2km of your house. I know you have being doing your school work everyday and I want you to continue with that if you can. I have created a list of work for you to do for this coming week. I hope you all have a lovely Easter break. Work will be uploaded each week for you to complete.
Maths:
MYM week 27 Monday- Thursday and Friday test.
Mathemagic pg. 105, 106, 107.
Tables: 4+ 4-
English:
Starlight Unit 6a: Recipe for a Smoothie. Read recipe first and then complete the exercises for this unit in the book and in homework copies.
Put the words in bold print from story into sentences.
Continue on with group 2 week 27 spellings.
Gaeilge:
Bun go Barr- Teilfís Nua pg. 86 + 87- Léigh an scéal
Ceisteanna pg. 88-91. Read, write and colour the pictures.
Small World:
PG. 60 + 61- Our Five Senses and A Sense of Spring.
Extra activities to keep you busy:
Lastly, I understand that parents are very busy at this time working and minding you all so all we can do is our best. Please do not feel under pressure to get all this work completed. A special thanks to all parents working in the frontline to try keep everyone safe. We cannot thank them enough.

- Create a sacred space somewhere in your house and practice your prayers.
- Practice your tin whistle.
- Get daily exercise on: https://www.cosmickids.com/ & PE with Joe Wicks on Youtube.
- Go for a walk/run outside and get some fresh air.
- Check out RTE Virtual learning starting Monday 30th of March at 11am.
- Pick a book and read for 20 minutes each day.
- Draw/Design an easter egg or make an easter card for someone in your family.
- Help out at home.
- Contact a relative who might love a chat.
