RUN AROUND EUROPE CHALLENGE

On your marks, Get set, Go!!! The whole school has been partaking in the Run Around Europe challenge. Our running has really improved and we noticed we are now running for a longer time without needing a break. While the challenge is ongoing, each class is focusing on the strand of Athletics and we are really enjoying this initiative. We have been getting out to the yard and GAA pitch to run in all types of weather and on different surfaces. Each class had two running leaders who were in charge of counting the lollipop sticks and calculating their class' total laps. It was great fun and we noticed some classes even getting very competitive!!
