pHYSICAL aCTIVITY
On the next few pages, you will see some of the fun initiatives we have undertaken this year to increase our Physical Activity. We are so lucky to have lovely facilities and lots of space in and around our school so, we felt that it was even more important to include extra Physical Activity into our daily school routine. From Active Breaks to Running Around Europe, there was something for everyone to get involved in.
Active walk :Walk on wednesday
Students and teachers walked around the GAA pitch before entering school in September and October. It really helped them feel energised for the school day.
ACTIVE SKIPPING CHALLENGE
During October students across the whole school had to skip with their class to their chosen destination for 3 weeks.
Students really enjoyed getting to know about their destination and learning about skipping during school and at breaktimes.
