BASKETBALL BLITZ
During the months of September and October, as well as participating in the Cumann na mBunscoil competitions, we were also very busy developing our basketball skills in PE. We couldn't believe the progress we all made. We had great fun playing different games but the highlight was our Blitz.
PORTLAOISE PANTHERS faced BOSTON CELTICS in the Shield Final while LA LAKERS battled it out against CHICAGO BULLS in the Championship Final. Both games were nail-biting and thrilling to watch. Captains of the winning teams made a speech and their teams were presented with cups- one of which was the very special, Lulu Carroll.
