Sacrament Dates, 2026

The Sacrament of Confirmation will take place at 2.30pm in St Fintan's Church, Ballyfin on Friday May 1st. 
First Holy Communion will take place at 10am in St Fintan's Church, Ballyfin, on Sunday May 17th. 

First Holy Communion, May 2025

While the beautiful May weather did not last for us, we still had a lovely day on Sunday, May 25th, for the First Holy Communion of 24 children from Second Class. A huge thank you to Fr Joe and Fr PJ for a lovely Mass, and to Clare Kavanagh and Helen Moore for all their work in preparing the children so well. Everything was beautiful!

Confirmation, May 2025

We were delighted to welcome Bishop Denis Nulty to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation to 36 children in Ballyfin, 27 of whom were from our Sixth Class, on Friday, May 23rd. Thank you to Fr Joe and Fr PJ for helping with their preparation throughout the year, and to Aishling Saunders and Paraic Crone for their work with the children in school. It was a lovely day of celebration and blessing.
