We celebrated St Brigid's Day 2024 with a Prayer Service for the whole school in the hall, which included the 'Pause for Peace'. Readers from 3rd class greatly contributed to our service.
We put the picture of St Brigid that was gifted to the school by the Brigidine Sisters, Mountrath, in 2018 on display in the front hall, along with flowers to mark the start of Spring.
We learned about some of the traditions associated with St Brigid, and some classes made St Brigid's Crosses, from matchsticks and pipe-cleaners as well as the more traditional rushes.
