Violin
We learned all about the violin. We listened to musicians playing it in different styles. We learned that the violin has 4 strings and it is played with a stick called a bow. We found it very interesting that the hairs on the bow are horse hairs!
Ms. Kavanagh brought in her violin to show us what a real violin looked and sounded like. She also brought in her very first violin she learned with when she was 5 years old. It was tiny and we found it so funny. We all got a chance to play it!
